Panther D early

My first backdating attempt - in this case, a Panther D (first version). A commercial kit wasn't available back then. Minor changes include the commander's cupola, adding smoke grenade launchers, large communication hatch on turret, glacis plate machine gun flap and driver's visor, and reworking of the hull. Original kit: old Tamiya Panther G. This picture is all that's left from the model because a couple yrs later I learned that the kit's dimensions were wrong (the kit was the old kit from Tamiya, intended for motorization) and that I had overlooked too many details, so I scrapped it.
